1880's timber frame barn restoration.

We began the long process of restoring our 1880's timber frame barn in the fall of 2018. The 117' by 43' double embankment barn had been slowly sinking in the ground. Many joints had been ripped apart completely and the frame was holding on by a thread. We hired Building Heritage for the major overhaul. The barn got a new foundation, roof, and cupola, with siding and windows still to come. It has quickly become central to the ranch serving as equipment and hay storage, workshop space, and potential for much more.
