Since the very beginning, when Rowdy Cow Ranch was just an idea, we dreamt of closing the loop. We dreamt of complete transparency in raising animals for meat, from birth to butchering. We dreamt of small batch sausages, unique stuffed burgers, and dry aged steaks. In spring of 2021 we took the leap and built out a small butcher shop in our barn. We now drive our animals just over an hour to a small USDA or State inspected slaughterhouse and then bring the carcasses home where they are treated with the respect and care that they deserve. We honor every animal's life by utilizing as much as we possibly can to produce the finest quality meat and unique value added products.
